What we do in Santa Maria, CA
We cover cabinet work across Santa Maria and the valley around it: custom cabinets built to measured dimensions, full kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities and linen cabinets, refacing where the existing boxes are sound, and installation only work for cabinets you have already bought. The service area runs from Guadalupe out toward the coast to Sisquoc inland, and from Nipomo in San Luis Obispo County down to Lompoc.
Every enquiry starts the same way: a measure in the room, a drawn layout, and an itemised written quote with a CSLB licence number on it. California requires a written home improvement contract for anything over $500 anyway, so this is not a courtesy, it is the legal minimum done properly.
A note on our name
Santa Maria Cabinet Pros is an independent business. There is at least one other cabinet business operating in Santa Maria under a similar name, and we are not affiliated with it, endorsed by it, or connected to it in any way. If you were looking for a different company, this is not it, and we would rather say so clearly than let you find out later.
What we do not claim
Plenty of contractor websites are decorated with things that are not true. This one is not, deliberately. Specifically:
- No testimonials. We have not invented customer quotes or attributed reviews to people who do not exist, and there is no star rating anywhere on this site.
- No before and after gallery. The photographs here are licensed stock and public domain images of real cabinet work, and none of them is presented as a job we completed. Every one is credited with its source and licence.

How the quote works
Send the form with the town, the room and roughly what you want. Somebody comes and measures, because a cabinet quote taken off a floor plan is a guess and a cabinet quote taken off a photograph is a worse one. You get a drawn layout and a scope that lists every cabinet, its size, the box material, the door style, the finish and the hardware.
Then you decide. There is no obligation attached to a measure, and nobody should be asking you for more than the legal deposit, which is $1,000 or 10 percent of the contract, whichever is less.
